Three drawings in 105 min 26 AUG

I recently joined a contest in sketchoholic. The challenge is that there are given three topics/subjects/object etc. to draw. One has to be drawn in 15 min, one in 30 min and the last one in an hour. The hour long image is usually a more elaborate one. below is my entry.
orchid flower (15 min)

lazy bird (30 min)

robot with unusual friend (1 hr)

I had so much fun in this contest. It's a very good way to practice drawing and crunching your creative brain to work in a limited time.

A little art dedicated to my most wonderful oinky Kristina, who always supported me in everything that I do.

Oinkycorn is a lengendary animal portrayed as a little pig with a large spiraling horn projected in the forehead. It is believed that oinkycorn has magical powers that can bring the owner good luck.

my life as a (newbie) illustrator

I finally bought a wacom bamboo pen tablet to practice in digital illustration and maybe make a living out of it. But right now, practice, practice, practice is what's on my mind. I wish I had a proper art training in school but that's too late now. Anyway, what I bought is the cheapest of all wacom pen tablet which is the bamboo pen. I could not afford buying the more expensive one. Someday, when all is well, I want to buy the big bad cintiq 21ux tablet but right now bamboo is enough for me as a starter. Below are some of my first digital illustrations, weeeeeee!!

Hi! My first project for 2011. This is an entry for CGChallenge XXVI - Dreamscape.

Modeled and rendered in blender 2.56a. sky and glow effect are done in PS. The glow effect are very doable in blender through composite nodes but since I'm rendering it in almost 4k (required in cgchallenge), my pc would choke up to death.

thanks for viewing and please leave a comment ^_^
